Friends and family,
Things have been going great!
This week is transfers, that's why I am emailing on Wednesday, Elder Cowley and I Got some pretty exciting news! We are both staying together in Rocky Mount. It is pretty rare that trainer and trainee stay together after training. But we were told that it is because we are having a lot of success in this area and because we work extremely well together.
This week we were also able to meet with a new investigator, she is amazing. Like so many of the people out here she loves Jesus. This is so convenient because we are than only able to strengthen their faith and teach them about the restored gospel. Sunday was our first lesson with her and we watched Joy To the World with her. Right after the video she invited herself to church! That's a pretty big deal.
Also we have started using a new program that the church has put out called He is the Gift. What it is, is a video that is centered around Christ's birth and how we should always remember that he is the greatest gift we can receive this Christmas season. I would encourage you all to check out the video and to share it with others. We have already been able to see a ton of success with this new program and It is such a testimony builder to me that as we put Christ first in everything that everything else will fall in to place.

And a few weeks ago, he sent these pictures along with this note: On Thursday we went to go blow glass Christmas tree ornaments to send home. We went with and investigator, Betty. The place we went to was a shop owned by members and the members daughter is a professional Glass blower so we were able to do that.
